At 2.4 kcal/gram, DAYELET ISOMALT is a polyol that is obtained by catalytic hydrogenation of a sucrose solution. It is therefore the common sugar modified enzymatically. Its sweetening power is low (50/60%) compared to sugar, almost half of it. For this reason, it is only used as a partial substitute in many desserts without added sugar.
All sweeteners are DAYELET healthy for the teeth as they do not act on the balance of the oral flora.
None of the Sweetener formulations DAYELET contain fast-absorbing carbohydrates such as: sucrose, glucose or fructose and GLUTEN-FREE.
Low glycemic index = 20. "Excessive consumption can produce laxative effects."
Our ISOMALT DAYELET Sweetener is metabolised in a similar way to dietary fibre, without affecting the blood glucose level. Like all soluble fibres, it positively supports the intestinal flora thanks to its prebiotic effect. These characteristics make it ideal for all people who follow low-calorie, hyperprotein and weight control diets.
