Crystalline powder sweetener with 2.4 kcal/gram, DAYELET MALTITOL is a polyol obtained by catalytic hydrogenation of maltose extracted from cereals.
Its sweetening power is 80%, in this way its high sweetness allows its use as a partial or total substitute for sugar. Combined with other polyols it applies to all kinds of sugar-free desserts and ice creams. "Excessive consumption can produce laxative effects."
Glycemic Index : 26.
None of the formulations of DAYELET Sweeteners contain fast-absorbing carbohydrates such as: sucrose, glucose or fructose and NO GLUTEN.. All DAYELET sweeteners they are healthy for teeth, protecting their health, as they do not act on the balance of the oral flora.
Our DAYELET MALTITOL Sweetener is metabolized in a similar way to dietary fiber, without affecting the blood glucose level. Like all soluble fibers, it positively promotes intestinal flora thanks to its prebiotic effect. These features make it ideal for all people who follow low calorie and weight management diets.
