Wallet specially designed to keep the insulin pump in optimal temperature conditions when temporarily disconnected.
The Cold Wallet® is a comfortable cooling system by means of an evaporated system that allows insulin to be kept in a safe temperature range between 18 and 26o for more than 24 hours even when the outside temperature rises from 37o.
The Frio® is activated by submerging it in cold water for a few minutes. With this simple action the gel crystals found inside expand into the film that will protect our insulin. After 24h, if the gel has decreased in volume we simply have to re-submerge the gel in water to get the wallet ready for use again.
The wallet is supplied with an outer cover that makes the product dry to the touch preventing moisture from the inner cover from causing discomfort.
