Colipex cream in comfortable individual envelopes is a product developed for the care of areas affected by lipodystrophy caused by insulin puncture. Thanks to its properties, Colipex helps to regenerate the skin contributing to eliminate the damage caused thus favoring the best absorption of insulin.
Lipodystrophies are abnormalities of fat tissue caused by the lipogenic effect of insulin. Insulin-induced lipodystrophies represent a more common skin involvement in insulin therapy for people with diabetes. This complication has a negative impact due to the unsightly aspect of lipodystrophies in addition to causing negative consequences on glucose control due to increased insulin needs.
Colipex is a combination designed to act in all phases of insulin injection complication syndrome:
- Collagen elastin: Acts at a structural level in the dermis improving its elasticity and resistance
- L-Carnitine and caffeine: Acts on lipolysis and lipogenesis by improving the surface of the skin
- Arnica montana: Actively stimulates the regeneration of cells in cases of local inflammation, favors the reabsorption of bruises on the skin.
- Hamamelis virginiana: Protects the skin from inflammation and bruising
- Aloe Vera: Accelerates the healing process of the skin.
- Thymus vulgris: Anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effect of superficial skin wounds.

Le doy una nota baja a pesar de que la crema, que ya he utilizado en otras muchas ocasiones, es muy buena. El problema no es la crema en sí, sino que en este pedido último que he hecho, con fecha 1 de junio, me la han enviado caducada. Como ya he dicho, la he comprado en junio y venía con una pegatina con información del lote, pero tapando la fecha de caducidad. La he despegado y debajo ponía que caducaba el 04/2025. No sé, me he quedado un poco fría, la verdad, porque no me esperaba esto. Si lo han hecho desde los laboratorios me parece una irresponsabilidad. Y prefiero no pensar en otras posibilidades porque me harían sentir bastante decepcionada.

Lo utilizo para el tratamiento de la piel en las zonas habituales de pinchazo de insulina. La crema es buena y efectiva, pero creo que sería mejor utilizar otro tipo de envase (por ejemplo tubo con salida de dosis a demanda). El precio me parece muy elevado.

De momento solo llevo un par de sobres y no puedo valorar si es tan milagroso como dicen. He probado otras cremas que tienen mejor olor, pero habrá que esperar para ver qué tal evoluciona la piel en las zonas de inyección de la insulina.
