The patches IKOOKI to protect the continuous monitor sensors have been designed to cover the sensor and fix it to the skin in a comfortable way keeping it glued to the body.
Made of high-quality kinesiological tape, the patch is supplied in a package of 1 unit. Manufactured specifically to protect the Freestyle Libre, the patch does not have adhesive in the center, thus preventing it from sticking to the sensor and making it easier to remove and minimizing the risk of tearing off the sensor when changing the patch.
According to the duration declared by the manufacturer of the material, the average duration is between 5 and 7 days under normal conditions of use that include its use during the shower. However, factors such as the pH of the skin, the correct placement or its greater or lesser exposure to water can cause this duration to vary and be greater or less than expected.
